From March 9-17, 2014 I served as the college Photojournalist for an Operation Smile Medical Mission held at the Central Hospital in Kolkata, India. Operation Smile is an international childrens medical charity dedicated to giving children born with facial deformities new smiles, and ultimately, a new chance at life. During this mission 153 patients were screened and 101 receieved surgery.
